Cigarette Racing 42X Ducati Edition Boat Unveiled

The 2011 Miami International Boat Show has witnessed the launch of the new Cigarette Racing 42X Ducati Edition watercraft as part of “The Menage of Motorsports” display, a dynamic threesome display comprising performance boats and two and four-wheeled vehicles.

Specifically, the Mercedes AMG and Cigarette Racing Team alliance have welcomed Italian motorcycle brand Ducati as a third partner.

The 42X Ducati Edition will feature a massive 2,200 horsepower rating from a pair of 1,100hp Mercury Racing engines. The livery of the model is pure Ducati, in white with Ducati red racing stripe. A white interior boasting red accents features a specially designed stereo from JL Audio. The 42 foot hull boasts an eight foot beam completing this 10,800 lbs (4,899kg), 120+mph (193+km/h) package.

Other highlights of the 42’X includes color GPS, sea Strainer with fresh water flush, GPS speedometer with recall and a hydraulic cabin door with built-in steps. Options include a swim platform and Herring propeller upgrade.
