Ally Financial to Insure Saab

The company which died GMAC and was reborn Ally Financial is now getting back in business and announced today it has landed a new contract with Saab Cars North America through which it will become the recommended finance and insurance provider for the Swedish brand in the US.

This is the second contract signed with Saab after back in March Ally was selected as the preferred source of wholesale and retail financing. The new agreement will see Ally start the offensive by offering the Repair Advantage line of vehicle service and maintenance contracts.

"This relationship offers our dealers and customers more financial options to meet their individual needs. We appreciate the interest and support of Ally Financial."

Ally will also be offering its other financial services to Saab customers, including the guaranteed asset protection (GAP), lease wear and tear, tire and wheel protection, appearance protection, and theft deterrence.

As usual, Ally customers will also have access to property and casualty insurance through the financial company's partners.
