Italian carmaker Alfa Romeo decided to delay the debut of the new Milano due to some organization problems. The company was expected to release the official photos showing the Milano today but, due to some yet unknown issues, it decided to postpone the unveiling for a later date.
However, we still got a glimpse into how the Milano will actually look like back in July when a Facebook user uploaded a batch of photos on his profile page. The photos were made with a mobile phone and showed the car into some kind of factory or garage.
The photos were believed to be leaked but a market strategy prepared by Alfa Romeo to create some buzz before the public release is also a very possible scenario. The uploaded pictures also revealed the interior of the car, with two sporty gauges and a center console similar to the ones seen on other models among the things that greet the driver when stepping in.
Details are yet to be disclosed but sources familiar with the matter are hinting that the future Alfa will boast both diesel and gasoline engines, obviously particularly focused on providing enough power without neglecting the environment or fuel efficiency. The car is likely to compete with BMW 1 Series but an official release date is yet to be announced.
The Milano is one of the models that will be sold in the United States under the Fiat - Chrysler alliance. According to the terms of the agreement, the Italian carmaker will bring several models in the US, but all of them - excepting Fiat 500 - will be sold locally as Chryslers.
