Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione - V8 Sound in Tunnel

The Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione is a masterpiece of design. Such a glorious looking car deserves an equally-glorious soundtrack, especially when its overall dynamics are somewhat lacking when compared to other similar cars.
The 4.7-liter Maserati-derived engine, is assembled by Ferrari and puts out 450-hp at 7000 rpm. It’s not a particularly powerful engine compared to what Ferrari has to offer, but it does have an amazing sound, specially with the exhaust valves open in Sport mode.

Driving an 8C (preferably a Spider for better noise reception) through a tunnel and flooring it, definitely has to go on every petrolhead’s of things to do and experience. Even though the driving experience of an 8C is somewhat lackluster, it is a car that became a classic from the very first day they started making it, and should be seen and heard at least once in one’s lifetime.
