There's nothing in the world of retro modern Stangs quite like the Harbringer. Only 250 were made, so seeing one on the public streets is quite of an event.
First thing's first: even though they share the same name, this car has nothing to do with fictional protagonist of the Hitman game franchise. The highly modified pony is made by Agent 47, a small company from Vista, California, founded in 2005.

Featuring timeless yet aggressive styling cues, the Harbringer Mustang borrows its design from the '69 Trans-Am racing Stangs. Built specifically for serious track duty or ultra high performance on the street, the Harbringer has the hardware to back up its ominous matte black exterior paint job.

Based on donor '69-'70 Mustang shells, this marvelous customization job isn't only skin deep. Under the hood you'll find a latest generation Ford Racing Boss 302 crate engine with 420 rear wheel horsepower and 385 lb-ft (521 Nm) of torque at its disposal. The rest of the drivetrain includes a six-speed close ratio gearbox featuring a 9-inch Speedway housing with floating axles and a 4:11 final drive.

The simple Forgeline wheels measure 18 inches in diameter, with 315 rubber at the front and 335 at the rear. Braking power comes from a lightweight Willwood system with six pistons in the front and four at the rear. In full race trim, the Agent 47 Harbringer only weighs 3,040 pounds (1,378 kilograms).

If you wonder how this baby looks and sounds like on the open road, we've got just the right video for you. However, if you aren't completely convinced that the Harbringer is serious track material as well, check out the second video below and be amazed at how flat the X2 racing model takles the apexes of Laguna Seca.
