A.C. Milan’s footballers Montolivo, Menez, Rami and Honda are seen competing in a city alley race against an Audi R8 in the latest ad featuring Japanese tire maker Toyo Tire. The video shows amazing angles taken both from inside the sportscar and outside, on the “playing field”. Apart from the great shots, the ending is probably the best part.
Not a big soccer fan? Well, neither are we. We do love Audi’s sports baby, especially when it stars in a race. The two-and-a-half-minute video was shot on the streets of Milan (of course) and pictures four famous footballers dribble and pass a soccer ball to each other throughout the streets and rooftops.
The sportscar is sitting on the company’s Proxes T1 Sport high-performance tires and drives through the same streets the soccer stars run on. Racing in style, it heads for the same goal as the footballers. We are not going to spoil the video by telling you guys how the race ends, but there are still some details worth mentioning.
There is not a lot of room for conversations and the fun can be experienced in full even if the audience does not understand a word of Italian. According to their press release, the video embodies the company’s belief in constantly providing fresh surprises to its audience.
