AC Cars, a company founded in 1901 by the Weller brothers, is Britain’s oldest surviving car brand, and with a history of ‘ups and downs’, this is not the first announcement of this type, with the company having passed through numerous management teams over its long history.
Now, though, a little bit of military discipline is due to set in, with AC Cars getting a new Managing Director, General Sir Jeremy Mackenzie GCB OBE, the former Supreme Allied Commander of NATO forces in Europe. For a man who once had 4-million soldiers ready and waiting to react to his every order, managing the handful of employees currently working for AC.
Being the previous owner of a Superblower Cobra in the 1980s, General Mackenzie has enough petrol running through his veins to properly manage and run the company, and we’re sure that under his leadership, their next concept car won’t miss its press debut, which is what happened to the AC 378 GT Zagato at the Geneva motor show this year.
