1967 Mustang Gets Custom Treatment

We wanted to take a few moments to show you a really special 1967 Mustang that has received a complete makeover.We are talking about a Pro-Touring fastback that comes with multiple modern upgrades that allow it to offer a high level of drivability. The project, which has been brought to life by Pro Touring Super Cars, a division of Speed, Inc., was built with a unlimited budget.

It all started with a full restoration for the body of the ‘67 Mustang. Once all the details were taken care of, the vehicle was dressed in an Acapulco Blue paint and received Shelby stripes.

The list of Shelby goodies also includes GT500 elements for the rockers, a rear cap and integrated spoiler. C-pillar and quarter panel scoops, front fascia with additional lights, as well as the vented hood. In addition to that, the car was fitted with with LED tailights that offer a modern touch.

Under the hood of the special ‘Stang, we can find a supercharged 2004 Cobra powerplant - a 4.6 liter V8 that manages to deliver 444 hp and 495 lb-ft. Other hardware changes include a six-speed Cobra Mustang T56 transmission, a Centerforce DFX clutch, a Ford 9-inch with 3.90 gears and a limited slip differential, a custom exhaust, a Marz front subframe, a Martz power steering and a Strange adjustable suspension, a G-bar 4-link rear suspension, Wilwood brakes, 18-inch Coys wheels with BFGoodrich G-Force T/A tires.

The interior also received a high level of attention and now offers a Dynamat isolation and comes with a factory “deluxe” black look.

The vehicle is now in search of an owner. If you feel like you must have this best-of-many-worlds ‘Stang, be prepared to spend $99,000.
