With Porsche being busy releasing the 992 Neunelfer, along with multiple 991.2 specials, it's not strange for otherwise special machines like the 991.1 911 GT3 RS to exit the spotlight. However, we wish to keep the Rennsport Neunelfer in the headlines and we've come across an aftermarket development that allows us to do just that.
To be more precise, the 3RS that brought us here comes with a monstrous wrap, the kind that allows the machine to stand out even when parked in a sea of Porsches.
This is an abstract design, albeit one that makes the car look fast even when standing still. The pixels you see here comes from a Scott Kepple, a digital artist whose work we featured on many occasions.
Looking past the second skin of the rear-engined monster, we notice the all-LED headlights of the thing, which come with black inner graphics. As for the red brake calipers, these signal the presence of the standard steel brakes.
Speaking of the 992 and the GT3 RS badge, we'll remind you that the two have already been brought together. Sure, it's still too early to talk about the new 3RS, but nothing can stop the Internet from dreaming about it.
As such, we've brought you a rendering of the Rennsport Neunelfer, which had been put together using simple principles. To be more precise, it all started with the styling cues of the 992 Carrera (4)S, the only model released to date. However, the render borrowed various bits and piece from the current 3RS, with the result being respectable.
Of course, we'll have to meet the new GT3 first, a move that might take place next year. Fortunately, prototypes have brought brilliant news. In other words, the newcomer is set to be animated by a naturally aspirated flat six, while the manual tranny is still on the table.
