Say hello to our little friend here. Since we last drove an Abarth, we were seeking for its unique combination of thrills, but we couldn’t find it. Thus, we decided it was time to have another one of these Italian cutie. This time, it would be the Abarth 695 Edizione Maserati.
Just look at that adorable front fascia. There are microscopic air intakes up front, which serve mini-intercoolers that cater to the needs of the nano-turbine. Make no mistake though, this car takes itself very serious when it comes to going fast.

It’s slim body is carried around by 180 HP, so that Scorpion-branded throttle pedal causes quite a stir when pushed. We’ve just asked the Competition gearbox to perform a full-blast upshift and it’s rewarded us with a sweet automated manual shock wave.

They’ve packed quite a lot of character into this little thing. Sure, it also has a few caprices, so let’s sit down and talk about all these in our Abarth 695 Edizione Maserati test drive.
