Introduced at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show earlier this year, the 2014 Jeep Wrangler Polar Edition will hit European dealerships in the first quarter of 2014. Although Jeep never mentioned a word about US availability, the Chrysler-owned brand just revealed the special edition vehicle will go on sale in North America starting November.
Available on both the two-door Wrangler and the four-door Wrangler Unlimited, the Polar Edition comes in a special Hydro Blue exterior color with black interior, special badging, heated front seats, leather steering wheel, automatic climate control and a 6.5-inch Uconnect system with 40GB HDD.

Motivation will be provided by Chrysler’s 3.6-liter V6 Pentastar engine that delivers 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. The mill can be had with either a standard six-speed manual gearbox or an optional five-speed automatic transmission.

“Jeep Wrangler is known for its 4x4 capability on any road or trail and in any weather condition,” said Mike Manley, president and CEO - Jeep Brand, Chrysler Group LLC. “The new Jeep Wrangler Polar Edition represents a tip of the hat to our loyal Jeep enthusiasts who are also lovers of outdoor winter activities and adventures. This new winter-themed Jeep will get them where they want to go, in a fun, new, unique – and very capable – special-edition package.”

The Wrangler Polar Edition will start at $32,395, while the Wrangler Unlimited will cost from $35,995.
