Waiting for the F80 M3 to show up is not as easy as it seems, especially if you’re a true BMW fan that wants the best right now, not 3 months later.
Well, right now, the top 3 Series model is the 335i, fitted with a 3-liter turbocharged inline 6-cylinder engine making 306 HP and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque, the same architecture of the S55 engine used on the M3.

However, it doesn’t look remotely as bad-ass as the full-on M car, not even with the M Sport package. That’s what the guys from A SPEC decided to step in.

Even though they are rather new on the market, the company being founded in 2002, A SPEC already has some impressive projects in its portfolio, including this F30 335i.

The car was first unveiled at the 2013 SEMA Show where it was welcomed by a lot of BMW’s usual fan base, especially due to the vacuum-formed carbon fiber parts that look absolutely unique, like nothing else available on the market right now.

The complete body kit is made up of the front and rear bumpers, side skirts, hood, trunk spoiler, mirror caps, roof overlay and kidney grilles. All of those come together in a beautiful package that definitely sets this beautiful Bimmer apart in the crowd.

Inside, the standard seats were replaced by Recaro Sportster CS ones and they they moved on the technical details. The engine received a new exhaust system with not cats and a new high-flow cat made out of stainless steel as well as 4 tail pipes.

The brakes were also upgraded with an in-house system featuring six-piston calipers, 380 mm rotors up front and four-piston calipers and 355 mm rotors at the back, sitting under KW Variant 3 coilovers and behind A SPEC’s own VF35 3-piece forged black wheels.

All in all, it’s a fresh take on the F30 platform, one that we wouldn’t mind seeing a lot more of amid the vast Mode Carbon and RKP crowd. Check it out!
