The wave of mobile living that's happening right now is absolutely stunning. Why? Because among the countless and never ending designs hides the Pingora tiny house from Wind River Tiny Homes. Get ready for a little gem that costs a fraction of what any landlocked home would.
Folks, the first thing I recommend you do if you plan on reading the rest of this article is to check out the image gallery. Why? Because this is what I feel is a perfect tiny home. In short, it's got everything you could ever need, a styling that envelopes you in the natural elements around, and above all, it's set up on a set of wheels, allowing you to move from town to town every single day, assuming you have all the necessary permits in place.

It's called the Pingora, and this gem of a mobile habitat is designed and crafted by none other than Wind River Tiny Homes (WRTH). You may have heard of this crew before, as we've featured their work on several occasions, and I'm sure you can see why. If the images in the gallery aren't enough to swing your mobile living vote toward tiny homes, how about a starting price tag of $88,400 (€78,600 at current exchange rates) to entice?

Overall, four different floorplans are available for this model, so to make things a bit easier to understand, I'll be choosing the largest of the four to walk you through a life lived out of a Pingora. The largest of the four options is the 30 ft (9 m)wonder, built upon a heavy-duty and custom-built tiny home trailer with a quad-axle layout. Best of all, it's DOT-approved.

Now, instead of sitting here and boring you with details about what WRTH throws in if you buy this unit, I invite you to experience the Pingora through a daydream, one filled with comforts that some classic homes don't even include.

I want you to picture yourself, and your family with this hermit home hitched up behind your truck. Hop in and take that six-hour drive to the edge of your state. Once you've arrived at your destination, it's time to stretch those legs, stabilize your unit, throw out the old wooden steps, and even set up the outdoor picnic area you brought along, umbrella and all. Maybe you've mounted an awning to the side of your Pingora. Since you'll be here for the next few days, it's time to get comfortable. To do that, let's head on inside this wonder.

In the images I urged you to explore, you're looking at a completed home, and one that's to the standards of a particular human, but in truth, you can do whatever you want to your own Pingora. For example, at the rear, we find two areas placed upon one another, with a bedroom at ground level and an elevated lounge above, accessible by a flight of stairs. Personally, I'd transform the lower area into an e-bike garage and the area above as a bedroom, but that's just me. Take a minute and picture yourself waking up with the morning light blasting you in the face through those massive windows. This one's for those morning folks.

From this space, we turn our attention to the rest of the home, in the process, locking eyes with a clean-cut kitchen, plenty of floor space, and a bathroom. You may have noticed that some units reserve one side of the unit for nothing more than the bathroom, leaving plenty of space for some dancing if you want to, while others showcase another loft, suitable for those with larger families or plenty of adventure toys.

As for a typical day in Pingora, it all depends on how you like to live. But picture yourself waking up being heated by the morning sun, and with eyes half-shut, you put on a pot of water for some coffee or tea. Since everyone else is still asleep, you get started on breakfast. With smells and sounds of life slowly filling the air, the rest of the gang emerges from their bedrooms. Since you cooked, you won't be doing the dishes.

Once everyone is nice and fed and ready for the new day, grab those e-bikes, kayaks, SUP boards, or whatever else you have planned, and get to exploring. Once the day is done, come back to a home in the wild that's eagerly waiting to clean you up, feed you once again, and put you to bed. If money's no object, I recommend looking into some solar power systems, possibly water-capturing tech. Cleaned up, fed, and ready for the night, dim the lights, put on your favorite jam, and wait for the sandman to bring you a dream.

Oh, you're a night owl? Grab a book, watch some TV, or do a bit of moonlight yoga. Why not head outside, raise a fire and seek inward meditation? Go ahead, doze off under the stars, and once you wake up from the cold, head inside and lie down on a memory foam or pillow-top mattress, it depends on what you paid for.

The next day, you have two options, do everything all over again or hitch this beauty back up to your truck, and off you go. Next stop? Wherever you want and have the power to reach. All the while, your Pingora will be right behind you, waiting yet again for the opportunity to buy your mobile haven.
