Ferraris will be Ferraris even when they whisper at idle. And since everybody knows the QV incarnation of the Alfa Romeo Giulia now has a Maranello twin-turbo V6 heart, the go-fast sedan's soundtrack is fitting.
We're not telling you that after watching official videos. Nowadays it's almost impossible to put your trust in such clips. Instead, we've brought along a piece of amateur footage that shows a Giulia Quadrifoglio moving around a dealership.

The QV in question has recently reached a dealer in Luxembourg, with the car's journey from the delivery truck to its display having been caught on camera.

While the Giulia is moving at a snail's pace (no turbine housing pun intended), the soundtrack of the footage is enough for us to tell how ferocious this Alfa can get when the driver uses the loud pedal.

Speaking of which, the employee maneuvering the Giulia QV was well aware of the fact that his stint behind the wheel would end up on the Internet, so the man treated the gas pedal as if it was a self-destruct button.

Interestingly enough, the video also shows a cold engine start and only the inner tailpipes seem to be functional. While this might mean the other two are fake, it could also indicate the four-pipe model is valve-activated when things get spicy.

Unfortunately, we'll probably have to depend on such clips for a while, since the automaker has recently announced yet another delay for the Giulia's global offensive.

The sedan's worldwide rollout won't take place until next year, so if you were planning on getting one and find yourself on the wrong side of the pond, you might have some waiting to do.

We'll remind you the automaker introduced us to the 510 PS (503 hp) Giulia QV in July 2015, but large-scale production isn't scheduled to kick off until March this year.
