Whenever a driver enters a track, the color Yellow, along with a few others, should be elevated to cult status. Sadly, many track tourists ignore such warnings, which sometimes lead to serious crashes such as the one we're here to discuss.
The accident took place back on September 10, during a Green Hell Touristenfahrten (Tourist Days) session that was plagued by accidents, with the obvious yellow lights and flags keeping many of the laps at a frustrating pace.

Nevertheless, the driver of the BMW M3 "camera car" decided to ignore the warnings pushing hard as he chatted with his female passenger while the Y code was on.

While we'll invite you to skip to the 5:45 point for the action, it's worth noting the driver can be heard saying "yellow" in Hungarian at the 5:52 point, while the passenger also exclaims the name of the color at the 6:31 point.

Engaged in a passing game with another V8-powered M3, the guy behind the wheel gets to floor the Bimmer for one or two seconds, as the two cars in front of him, the other M3 and a first-gen Audi TT slam on the brakes.

The crash that follows deserves to be watched at least two times - once at normal playback speed for the aural side and once using YouTube's "slow-motion" feature to check out the airborne dynamics of the accident.

According to Green Hell-obsessed blog Bridge To Gantry, the M3 "camera car" was a rental, with the guy behind the wheel having to pay up to EUR35,000 ($39,000) for the car damage and EUR10,000 ($11,150) for other damages - since he hit the other cars from behind, he was probably held responsible for their issues, too. We don't know how much the man actually ended up paying, hence the quotes in the title above.

Perhaps the uber-expensive Nurburgring lap is what determined the man to discard any potential internet wrath and upload the video (even more surprisingly, comments weren't disabled).

Hopefully, this will serve as a lesson to all those drivers who drive onto the track acting like they own the whole circuit. Oh, and by the way, this wasn't the only "instant karma" episode delivered due to ignoring the Yellow lights on that day.
