If you like cool coupe design, carbon fiber, the sound of a V8 and quattro all-wheel drive like we do, this could be the coolest car ever. ABT's superb RS5-R coupe made its presence felt this year at the Essen tuning show in Germany, grabbing everybody's attention by the suspension struts.
The RS5-R was originally presented in Geneva this March, but its design hasn't aged one single bit. Under the hood, it still has 470 hp coming from its tuned V8 engine. ABT says that because of the extra power and the increased traction, the car will now sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds, which is impressive.

That traction comes from the sticky rubber that's been glued to 20-inch light alloy wheels. Thanks to upgraded suspension and roll cage, cornering is also much improved. But don't think of the RS5-R as a stripped-out racer, because it actually has a luxurious interior that would shame a Lamborghini.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
