It might seem that Ford has already designed a hybrid MPV that’s better than the Prius V, but as we all know, “Prius” is synonymous with “hybrid”, and the things sell like hot cakes. So The Ford C-Max Hybrid is actually facing an uphill battle.
So to promote all the ways in which the C-Max is better, two commercials have been released. They tell us the Ford is more powerful, more fun and even more practical than the Prius people mover.

The C-Max Hybrid is supposed to do 47 mpg highway and 44 mpg city, besting the Prius V’s 44 mpg city and 40 mpg highway ratings. Also, the Ford has 188hp versus the Prius V's 134hp.

"The C-MAX Hybrid builds on Ford’s 20 years of hybrid innovation and fuel-efficient offerings to take on Prius v with better city fuel economy at 47 mpg and at better value – a great chance for us to shake up the hybrid market," says Raj Nair, Ford vice president, Global Product Development.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
