Apart from the two highly-tuned Lambos we saw earlier, Rothe brought another special car at this year’s Essen Motor Show in Germany - a Volkswagen Golf VII GTI with a bit more punch under the hood.
The Golf seen here got its power boosted from 230 to 293 PS and 350 to 431 Nm of torque. However, unlike its bigger “brothers” standing next to him, it uses no forced induction contraptions. Instead, Rothe gifted the hot hatch with a modified engine software and a custom exhaust system.
Torque steering comes as a bonus with all that power going to the front wheels, but at least you’l ride in style as the car also received a sport suspension, new brakes and a very intimidating-looking 19-inch ATS Racelight wheels. Check the ride in the gallery bellow.
