Oh my! Life really can be beautiful for some youngsters out there. For most 21-year olds, the best car they’ve driven is a decade-old Honda Civic Type R. But a select few well-off youngsters have the world at their disposal.
One such rich kid from Sydney, Australia, lent his brand new Lamborghini Gallardo that he had just received as a present from his parents to a 21-year old friend. Naturally, since this a supercar crash story, there must be showing off involved, and there probably is, since the passenger was a 19-year old female, things begin to tie in nicely.
The 21YO pushed the car and found the limits of his own talent, as he crashed the Gallardo into a taxi. It took rescue crews two hours to get him out of the mangled supercar, and they were taken to hospital for leg injuries.
The car was a Gallardo LP550-2 with rear-wheel drive and belonged to 23-year old student Brendon An. The car came from his parents in China and now looks like a AUD500,000 write-off. Still, he was happy that his friends were alive.
