1958 was a tremendous year in the history of the Italian sportsbike manufacturer MV Agusta. The "Poker Mondiale" brought an immense accomplishment for the Varese factory as they won in no less than 4 classes. The 2013 MV Agusta Revival evokes the past glory in an event to take place this very weekend (June 15-16) at Cascina Costa di Samarate, in the Italian province Varese.
Back in '58 MV Agusta won the 125 class with Carlo Ubbiali, the 250 race with Tarquinio Provini and the prestigious 500cc class with the famous John Surtees, OBE.
The MV Agusta F3 World Supersport pilots of the Team ParkinGO and Copa Italia Team Gimotorsport will also be present at this anniversary. A beauty contest will also be organized for both vintage motorcycles and modern racing ones.
If you ahppen to be in Italy this weekend, in the Varese region, you should not miss this celebration, even though we're positive MV Agusta won't be showing their all-new F3 800 at the event.
