2023 was quite a busy year for Mercedes-Benz with a multitude of special editions, mid-cycle facelifts, and the extensive introductions from the mid-size class – the sixth generation W214 E-Class and the first-ever CLE series. However, it doesn't seem that the company will slow down in 2024.
This is probably the year that we will finally see the electric G-Class in production form, even if sales won't start until 2025 or even 2026. A new CLA and perhaps also a second generation of the EQC battery-powered electric compact luxury crossover SUV are also earmarked by the rumor mill for production. And then there are also the Mercedes-AMGs.

Those can bundle up and come out as the most important novelties of the year for the German automaker – we are waiting on the SL with E Performance oomph, and our spy photographer partners think we should also prepare for the introduction of the 2026 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe's successor with full electric power under the hood instead of V8 muscle if the testing and development program concludes successfully.

However, the most eagerly anticipated reveal is, for all intents and purposes, the high-performance variant of the newly introduced W214 Mercedes-Benz E-Class. The executive car, sold in sedan, estate (S214), and All-Terrain (X214) formats, will soon welcome the AMG versions into the fold as a way to make sure they will adequately answer the call to arms by BMW's upcoming M5 and M5 Touring. Ready to rock the world of the BMW M5 and Audi RS 6 Avant in station wagon form, the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S is probably just around the corner, complete with PHEV E Performance monikers.

Well, the arrival of the 2025 Mercedes-AMG E 63 S E Performance shouldn't be precipitated in the real world – leave it to teasers and leaks for that. Meanwhile, everything can be exposed without a second thought across the imaginative realm of digital car content creators. For example, the good folks over at the "AutoYa" info channel on YouTube have a satellite venue dubbed AutoYa Interior, and that's where all the (CGI) Mercedes-AMG action occurs for E 63 S fans.

The channel's host muses that Mercedes-AMG will probably drop the mighty V8 in favor of a six-cylinder setup together with electric motor aids, as opposed to BMW's M5, which keeps the larger engine and adds electrification alongside significant mass, according to the rumor mill. But that's no issue across the parallel universes of vehicular CGI, as the pixel masters usually concentrate on design and style rather than substance.

On this occasion, as per tradition, the channel's CGI expert was keen to showcase the upcoming 2025 Mercedes-AMG E 63 S design project from all angles – including the rear, the front, and as a panoramic view of the cockpit. Also customary is that there's a big color reel for each POV, along with a quick comparison between the real-world predecessor and the hypothetical successor. So, which color combination is your favorite, if any?
