For anyone who doesn't need the utility part from their SUV (sport utility vehicle), Mercedes-Benz, through its subsidiary AMG, just answered the call of great looks and cramped rear space with the latest GLC Coupe twins – GLC 43 and GLC 63 S E Performance.
The new 2024 and 2025 Mercedes-AMG GLC Coupe lineup includes just these two models, with the 43 version being the 'affordable' option and the 63 S E Performance not just a mouthful but also the most advanced machine of the two. As such, the GLC Coupe 43 has 416 horsepower with an additional 13 ponies from the mild-hybrid setup.

On the other hand, the 63 S E dials the power settings to a combined 671 horsepower thanks to the abysmally small 6.1 kWh battery and the mating of the M139l four-cylinder with an electric motor. There's also a max torque of 752 lb-ft for swift acceleration from zero to 60 mph in as little as 3.4 seconds. But why are we telling you all that?

Well, there's a pretty good chance that we will soon see the 63 S E Performance setup in yet another Mercedes-AMG. This time around, it will be way more useful than a coupe-SUV if you ask us. That's because we need to gear up for the approaching release of the Mercedes-AMG E-Class Estate. Remember, the normal Mercedes-Benz variants arrived this summer with a standard trunk capacity of 615 liters (21.71 cu. ft.) that could be expanded to 1,830 liters (64.62 cu. ft).

Of course, the PHEV variants had to make do with less - 460 to 1675 liters (16.24 to 59.15 cu. ft.), and we bet that's going to be the norm for the Mercedes-AMG E 63 S E Performance when it comes out to play hide and high-performance seek with the V8-powered BMW M5 Touring plug-in hybrid and the traditional Audi RS 6 Avant. But what can we do until then to quench our thirst for big AMGs?

Well, leave it to the imaginative realm of digital car content creators to provide a solution – the arrival of the 2025 Mercedes-AMG E 63 S E Performance Estate from across fantasy land. Nikita Chuicko, the virtual artist better known as kelsonik on social media, thinks now is the right CGI time to fuel our E-Class Estate dreams of high-performance toddler-to-kindergarten hauling and feisty grocery shopping.

Even better, the pixel master not only envisioned the potential looks of the AMG version based on the 2024 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate but also took some virtual liberties – the station wagon appears slightly lowered, and there are some neat Brabus details (like the aftermarket wheels) here and there. Additionally, the CGI expert swapped the LED star-like taillights with typical elements and also the fake exhaust outlets with real dual-piece ones on each side of the bumper. Cool, right?
