Do you remember Mitsubishi's Starion three-door sports coupe with rear-wheel drive from the 1980s? You may be more familiar with the Chrysler, Plymouth, or Dodge Conquest names, as that's how it was called in our market, whereas the Colt Starion was its given name in the United Kingdom.
With its straight-four turbo'd mill and an automatic or a manual transmission, it wasn't exactly something to write home about compared to the real V8-powered monster of that era. However, the Starion, as well as its Conquest siblings from Dodge, Chrysler, and Plymouth, was a pretty proposal in the segment, no matter which brand it was sold under.

To this day, it remains an appealing machine, hence why certain enthusiasts still talk about it and hope Stellantis might bring it back from the dead with a new generation, even if it wouldn't be called the Conquest anymore. However, with the automotive giant's emphasis on electric machines and crossovers, chances are we will never get a modern-day version of it anymore.

Nevertheless, the 2025 Dodge Conquest already exists, albeit in the digital world, with Nihar Mazumdar on Behance being responsible for the resurrection. And you can immediately tell what vehicle it builds on, can't you? If you said the Ram Rampage, then you, sir (or ma'am), certainly know your modern pickups, as this open-bed model was used as a blank canvas.

The pixel manipulator chose to retain the styling up to the central pillars. Further back, it has an elongated roofline that is very arched towards the rear. The hatch-style opening of the new tailgate is another virtual trait of this model, which also sports new dedicated taillights.

The front and rear bumpers carry over from the real thing. The same goes for the door handles, quarter panels, bumpers, headlamps, and other components. One fine touch is the addition of a logo below the A-pillar, which reveals its Conquest name. Privacy windows are on deck, and it rides on slightly bigger wheels shod in thin rubber, a move that would affect any vehicle's comfort, especially an LCV.

If priced accordingly, such a ride would probably sell like hotcakes. After all, it follows the crossover recipe with a coupe styling that's (sadly) become a bit too popular these days, has a very generous ground clearance, and sleek overall styling. The only things it needs are a more X6-like approach when it comes to the back end and some large wheels.

But would you be ready to spend your money on a hypothetical modern-day Dodge Conquest crossover coupe if it looked like this (or similar) and was significantly more affordable than something along the lines of a similarly-sized BMW X6, Mercedes GLE, and Audi Q8? Drop a line below and tell us what you think of it.
