The redesigned 2024 Nissan Rogue is a smart transformation where very few modified components make the facelift stand out in any crowd. Plus, the Japanese automaker promises that its best-selling model is also brimming with the latest connectivity features.
The company first introduced the Nissan Rogue in late 2007, and since then, it has become a staple of the American compact crossover SUV market – it's out there at the top, battling with the Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V for supremacy. Naturally, a lot is at stake because Nissan's Rogue is the third best-selling nameplate in the segment behind the CR-V and RAV4, while the sector itself is the top-grossing across the US car market.

Now, while the Toyota RAV4 is patiently waiting for a thorough refresh or an entirely new iteration for the 2025 model year, and the CR-V is too fresh to update, it seems like Nissan chose the perfect time to boost hype for their Rogue nameplate. As such, the company "continues to enhance its best-selling crossover and reinforce the commitment to bringing the latest technology to its most popular vehicles" with help from a subtle yet impactful refresh and the addition of new connected features.

Although it's instantly recognizable by Nissan Rogue fans, the 2024MY gains a different grille that makes a world of difference alongside the modified front and rear fascias, as well as a slew of very subtle upgrades. Among the latter, we could count on the satin-finish exterior badges or "new inner taillights," for example.

Additionally, the Japanese carmaker will offer new 18-inch alloy wheels, new colors, and textures for the trim elements on the door panels, seats, center console, and passenger-side dashboard, plus high-tech stuff like a wireless smartphone charging pad, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster – which are standard on the SL trim level. Meanwhile, The Rogue Platinum gets enhanced with new 19-inch wheels, gloss black trim elements, and a newly optional Chestnut brown leather upholstery.

The new exterior color palette includes Everest White Pearl, Deep Ocean Blue Pearl, Baja Storm, and various dual-tone configurations when the roof is painted black. Pricing has not been announced yet, but we know the 2024 Rogue will arrive at nationwide dealerships early next year with four grades - S, SV, SL, and Platinum- each available with both FWD and AWD. The powertrain, meanwhile, features the same 1.5-liter VC-Turbo engine paired with the company's Xtronic CVT and rated at 201 hp and 225 lb-ft of torque.

Last but not least, completely new for its class, the 2024 Rogue will arrive equipped with Google built-in on the 12.3-inch HD color touchscreen, and the new "infotainment system seamlessly integrates well-known Google apps – including Google Assistant, Google Maps, and more on Google Play – right into Rogue's dashboard." However, the new system is limited to Rogue SL and Platinum models, while the Rogue S and SV feature an 8-inch system with standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus AM/FM and SiriusXM.
