Unlike Toyota or even Honda, their Japanese rival Nissan doesn't seem too preoccupied with their performance across the North American region.
The latest step they took to ensure people care about them was to treat the subcompact Kicks to another price bump, for example. Sure, some would say that the 2024 Frontier mid-size pickup truck, which now starts from $29,770, is a much better illustration of the company's US efforts.
But that one also was treated to minute changes – the brand's corner office head honchos from the marketing department just gave it a new flagship SL grade and introduced the Hardbody Edition. While the latter sounds decidedly intriguing for 1980s fans, it's just a heritage package adding primarily visual touches and a set of retro-inspired 17-inch wheels for $3,890.
Anyway, everyone thinks that Nissan is about to continue down the same line of lightly refreshing its models and bumping their prices, just like they also did with the Murano, Altima, or Pathfinder for the 2024MY. Oh, and not to mention, this might be the last hurrah for the Titan pickup truck as the nameplate doesn't fare well against the F-Series, GM trucks, Ram pickups, or the Toyota Tundra.
And that feeling of only doing the light work, never the hard stuff, is also prevalent across the imaginative realm of digital car content creators, as it turns out. The Halo oto channel on YouTube provides fresh automotive info corroborated with their virtual designs; now, there are some CGI ideas about a restyled Rogue CUV.
According to the channel's host, at least one prototype of the 2024 Nissan Rogue was caught in the open while testing. And, based on the rumor mill's findings, the resident pixel master quickly came up with a subtle (unofficial) vision of the model's light mid-cycle refresh. The timing is quite logical, indeed – Nissan's third-generation Rogue was released in North America during the summer of 2020, so an introduction of the mid-cycle refresh later this year for release in 2024 would be spot on.
Plus, it doesn't need that much to remain pretty and compelling – feels the resident virtual artist – only an update of the V-motion grille's style, reworked split headlights, plus a mildly updated rear bumper and probably some fresh alloy wheel designs. Well, if that's not enough, know that the channel is quite passionate about Nissan and its future models.
