It takes a lot of work to become an experienced motorcycle rider, and even much more to become an enduro expert. That's why most of the time the bikes made for this segment are targeted directly at pro riders. And the new 2024 Husqvarna range of enduro machines is no exception.
Just like the Austrians from KTM, the Swedes from Husqvarna are big players in this segment of the market. Two of the machines they use to keep the fight going are the FE 350 Pro and TE 300 Pro, both of which have now been presented in their new, 2024 model year incarnation.

We're told they both have been tailored with experienced enduro riders in mind, and that's immediately clear when you have a closer look at the goodies.

We'll start, as usual, with commonalities, and in this case, for both bikes, we're talking about new frames and subframes, revised bodywork, and refined suspension.

Although it doesn't go into specifics, Husqvarna says the platform on which the two bikes are built has been designed in such a way as to improve rideability. That's also made possible by the use of enduro-specific WP suspension comprising an XACT closed cartridge fork and a redesigned shock of the same make.

As far as bodywork is concerned, changes are limited to new, competition-inspired graphics. Elsewhere on the frame both machines get new high-grip seat covers, redesigned LED headlights, Brembo braking hardware, and new handlebars.

Below the frame there is a polyamide skid plate, and the connection to the ground is made by means of new wheels shod in Michelin tires.

Taken separately, the two-stroke TE 300 Pro comes with a revised engine now featuring throttle body injection. This should provide consistent power all over the rev range, the company says.

The four-stroke FE 350 Pro features the most changes in the engine department, with its 350cc DOHC powerplant now fitted two degrees further back in the frame to allow for better mass distribution. It also comes with traction control and a Quickshifter.

Both engines for the two machines work with two pre-set riding maps, which can be selected depending on the terrain the new Husqvarna enduros ride over.

The Swedish company says the new range of Pro motorcycles is already available for order, but as usual you should be aware that market availability may vary. It doesn't say however how much any of these bikes cost, and advises potential customers to "refer to your national Husqvarna Motorcycles subsidiary or importer. "

It'll probably take a while before the bikes make it in large numbers out in the open, but we can't wait to see what these babies are capable of in the right hands.
