Cadillac, usually a restrained luxury US automaker, has seemingly taken a page out of Toyota's 'let's hurry with presentations' book and became quite prolific over the past few months.
Everything started with the introduction of the refreshed 2024 XT4 crossover SUV that's now on sale from $36,295 in America but can also be had in other places, like China. Speaking of the largest auto market in the world, the luxury brand not only presented the entry-level CUV there but also premiered the first-ever GT4 coupe-SUV along with the second generation of the CT6 flagship sedan.

That's a great-looking forbidden fruit for America, so perhaps we should refocus on the US market. Over there, Cadillac not only presented the 2024 model year changes for the CT4-V and CT5-V family but also started the V-series celebrations for the 20th anniversary of the high-performance sub-brand. And soon enough, the first fruit also came out to play – aka the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Mondrian Editions.

However, even more importantly, Cadillac is preparing to become one of the most important premium carmakers in the all-electric field. As such, back in May, the company started teasing the approaching introduction of the first-ever all-electric Escalade IQ as the third member of the EV family alongside the Lyriq crossover SUV and Celestiq super-sedan. From then on, the news kept pouring in – especially from across the rumor mill, with the first spy shots of the prototypes and pixel masters quickly imagining the looks of the upcoming full-size battery-powered (Ultium) Escalade IQ sport utility vehicle.

Interestingly, Cadillac joined in on the chatter with a recent announcement that we will not have to wait long for the Escalade IQ's arrival – it's officially set to premiere on August 9 in New York. But that, of course, wasn't enough to end rumors and speculation abruptly. Especially across the imaginative realm of digital car content creators, that is. So, here is the virtual automotive artist behind the Evren Ozgun Spy Sketch channel on YouTube, who has a slightly different interpretation of the upcoming Escalade IQ than the usual CGI norm who only see it blending the fifth-gen cues with Lyriq and Celestiq DNA and nothing else.

Instead, just like it happened with the author's recent features of the Mercedes CLE series and BMW M5, the pixel master wanted to infuse the upcoming Cadillac Escalade IQ with a bit more personality. As such, the changes are rather drastic, not just at the front, where it naturally follows the OEM guidelines in terms of styling, but also for the profile and the rear of the vehicle. So, the side now features hidden door handles and a rising elbow area starting from the C pillar rearwards. As for the back area, it feels pretty much inspired by the new Land Rover Range Rover from certain angles but with an additional vertical LED taillight touch to mirror the front treatment. All in all, not a bad CGI effort, right?
