Remember the unveiling event of the Ram TRX? Mr. Sandman by SYML was used to promote the Hellcat-engined pickup, which is probably the reason why Ford chose Enter Sandman by Metallica for the F-150 Raptor.
The more capable sibling of the F-150 Tremor will be unleashed onto the world on February 3rd with a twin-turbo V6 instead of an eight-cylinder motor, which brings us to the comments section of the following teaser.

“Please have a V8,” commented a certain someone, and I’m feeling for him. This wish isn’t likely to fall on deaf ears because pre-production trucks have been spied on video with the distinguishable sound of eight cylinders arranged in a V. Be that as it may, we don’t know what V8 is coming.

The 5.0-liter Coyote is out of the question, which leaves the 5.2-liter Predator and 7.3-liter Godzilla as the other candidates. The larger of the two powerplants doesn’t match the output figures of the 3.5-liter EcoBoost, though. The final possibility is a 6.8-liter engine that will be produced at Windsor in Ontario, Canada for the next-generation Mustang and F-150.

Sporting a more aggressive front fascia than ever before, the Raptor will continue to ride on BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 rubber. These tires are complemented by Fox-developed shock absorbers with Live Valve technology, and as opposed to the outgoing model, the redesigned truck will feature a rerouted exhaust system and coil springs for the rear suspension.

Don’t be shocked, though, because Ram has already proven the coil-sprung design in the TRX. Ram promises more than 13 inches of suspension travel and more comfort than leaf springs, but that’s not all. In the summer of 2022, the dual-motor 2023 Ford F-150 Electric will switch to an independent setup.

These being said, now’s the perfect time to search for a 2020 model because dealerships want to get rid of them as fast as possible. For reference, the advertised price for the outgoing generation is $53,455 excluding freight.
