Porsche might have a number of 992 Neunelfer specials in the pipeline, but the automaker isn't done showcasing the 991 just yet. In fact, starting earlier this month, Zuffenhausen is showcasing a series of 911 Speedsters that pay homage to special 911s from the 1950s to the 1980s, with this adventure set to continue through 2020.
It all kicked off with the gold-plated Heritage Package for the more-than-a-GT3-Cabriolet that is the Speedster. For instance, while the "normal" 911 Speedster kicks off at $274,500, the model mentioned above brings a premium of at least $24,510 (then again, this kind of optional extra financial burden is only normal in the Porscha realm).

And an example of the rear-engined delight (this has the Heritage Package we had previously met) was recently spotted in Berlin, Germany, as you'll be able to notice in the images above - pixel tip to Autogespot for these pics.

Keep in mind that the German automaker is only bringing 1,948 units of the Speedster to the world (this is a nod to the company's beginnings), so each sighting is special.

Returning the the spiced-up 992 derivatives mentioned in the intro, the hostilities will kick off with the new Turbo, which could make its debut as early as next month. Note that both Coupe and Cabriolet incarnations of the 2021 Turbo have been spotted testing.

Then we'll get the eighth-generation 911 in GT3 form, with this set to land next year, while the "standard" car will be joined by the Touring Package from the get-go.

Oh, and let's not forger the 992 Porsche 911 Targa: while the Targa we all know has been seen in prototype form, the rumor mill talks about the return of the eagerly anticipated Turbo Taga. Of course, this is pure speculation at this point, as no test cars offering clues on the matter have been spied.

And while we're talking speculation, I'll remind you of this potential 992 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS prototype.
