Our idea of the perfect two-car garage probably wouldn't have cars that have the same badge, but having an R8 facelift parked next to the new Audi RS6 Avant definitely makes a good miniature quattro collection, and it also highlights how good their design is.
Audi clearly came out all guns blazing with the new RS6. Just weeks after its reveal, the model has been shown at a big auto show, is available to order and has been handed out to the press in Germany. YouTuber Automann-TV got hold of one that looks interesting in the old Nardo Grey paint that's been popular for many years.

Meanwhile, the R8 facelift is being picked up by its owner at Audi Forum Ingolstadt wearing Kemora Grey paint a bunch of optional goodies. The black exterior accents and a red leather cabin just make this look like more of a supercar.

We'd love to see a drag race between these two, the family sports car and the budget Lamborghini. We think the RS6 will do 0 to 100 km/h in about 3.4 seconds, but the R8 can still accelerate a bit faster because it's much lighter, by about half a ton.

In case you didn't know, the new RS6 debuted with 600 HP from its new 4-liter V8 while the R8 comes in two forms of V10. The "base model" makes 570 HP and will to 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds while the hardcore performance model makes 620 HP and will take just 3.1 seconds.

Despite the RS6 having more doors and seats, it's actually much less expensive, starting from €115,000 while the R8 Performance is €200,000. Of course, in both cases, options add a lot to the cost. And if you pull up in the new power wagon at any car meet, you're likely to be crowded, whereas the supercar is already kind of old.
