Ladies and gentlemen drivers, the reinvented 2019 Mercedes-AMG G63 has only been on the road since June and the time has come to check it out while performing sprinting duties.
The piece of footage that brought us here showcases the reinvented behemoth completing the 0 to 100 kph (62 mph) test, while almost ticking the 0 to 200 kph (124 mph) box.

Interestingly, while the official figures talk about the Affalterbach toy requiring 4.5 seconds for the 0 to 100 kph run, the test we have here, which comes from Arab GT, shows that the machine is 0.5 seconds quicker. Keep in mind that this isn't the first time when the said publication delivers a stunning sprinting figure. However, the problem is that only the dashboard is shown, so we can't see the environment used for the test.

Keep in mind that the 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 of the old G63 has made room for the ubitoquus TT 4.0-liter V8. While not in its most potent form here, the engine still delivers 585 hp and a peak torque of 850 Nm. Then again, no Mercedes-AMG production model has an exhaust layout as cool as that of the G63.

Power is now set to the all four wheels via a Speedshift 9G TCT tranny, with a default torque distribution of 60:40 (front:rear).

And while the official top speed of the offroader sits at 220 kph, you can opt for the Driver's Package, which allows the beast to go up to 240 kph.

With this being a new design from the ground up, the German engineers have managed to shed some weight, despite the car being larger than the one it replaces. To be more precise, the 2019 model is a full 170 kg lighter.

Then again, what we have above are just numbers and none of these can prepare you for the real-world awaiting you in the clip below. Oh, and don't forget to turn up the volume before reaching for the "play" button.
