Navigating through the color options of your future Mustang is serious business and the time has now come to discuss the options you have for the 2017MY 'Stang.
Since we're nothing short of optimistic when it comes to cult cars such as this pony, we'll start with the good news.

The best piece of info related to the exterior and interior hues to be used by next year's Mustang has to be the return of Grabber Blue. The eye-catching color was retired with the past generation of the Mustang - as you know, 2014 was the last model year for the S197 'Stang.

Given the Blue Oval nickname of the automaker, it's no wonder that the company has prepared a Blue fest for 2017 Mustangs. Not only is Grabber Blue back, but Lightning Blue, a fresh option that has surfaced for the 2017 Ford Escape and Fusion, is now making its way to the pony. Mind you, the new hue is replacing the Deep Impact Blue.

We can also discuss non-color, since the Mustang gains a hue called White Platinum Metallic.

As for the less-than-positive news, we'll mention 2017 Mustangs will lose two additional colors aside from the one mentioned above, namely Competition Orange and Guard. Still, it's not like you can't buy a 2015 or 2016 Mustang in one of those hues.

We haven't chosen the image above by mistake, and the message we want to send out is that the California Special package carries on for 2017.

We're inviting you to surf the exterior and cabin hues of the 17MY Mustang in the guide below, which came to us via Mustang6G.

Do keep in mind that, before heading out to your dealer and ordering a 2017 Mustang, you'll have to wait for the order bank to open. Early April is the time you need to set a reminder for.
