Dodge has an attack plan for 2016, and it involves significant decisions meant to satisfy the large demand for their SRT Hellcats.
Order banks are just days away from being opened by Dodge, which means customers can make the first step towards owning a 2016 Challenger Hellcat or a 2016 Charger Hellcat.

The demand is already high, so one of the decisions Dodge had to make involves doubling the production for 2016, along with "simplifying the process to make it easier for our enthusiasts to get their hands on the hottest muscle cars in history," according to Tim Kuniskis, President and CEO, Dodge and SRT brands.

This can only sound like good news for those looking to master the full power of a 707-horsepower muscle car, but more changes are taking shape on the horizon.

For example, the remaining 2015 SRT Hellcat scheduled orders will be built at Chrysler's Brampton Assembly plant in Ontario, Canada. More important, all unscheduled 2015 model year SRT Hellcat orders will be cancelled, but there's no reason to panic as the respective buyers will receive discounted 2016 model year stickers.

The standard bag of goodies remains unchanged, of course, which means the full stable made of 707 ponies is where it should be, thanks to the 6.2-liter HEMI V8 responsible for the 650 lb-ft (881.2 Nm) of torque.

Also, the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat will still be able to blast a quarter-mile elapsed time of 11.2 seconds on stock Pirelli P Zero tires while the monster-sedan Charger SRT will still be able to hit a top speed of 204 mph (328.3 km/h). Please consider Germany's autobahns if you're interested in putting that to the test.
