Slated to go on sale from September 1, the 2016 Citroen C4 Picasso and Grand C4 Picasso will also be available in right-hand drive. For the UK market, prices start from £19,635 and £21,935, respectively.
Whereas pricing remains unchanged, the refreshed multi-purpose vehicles add more standard equipment for all trim levels. The most significant changes over yesteryear’s models are the more contemporary front fascia design, complete with daytime running lights, while the rear end is garnished with 3D-effect taillights. Two new paint colors were added in the form of Lazuli Blue (pictured) and Soft Sand (also pictured).

On the Feel trim level, the 2016 Citroen C4 Picasso now boasts 17-inch Mamba diamond-finish alloy wheels. In the case of the Citroen Grand C4 Picasso, integrated roof bars and an aluminum finish for the side profile are standard on the Flair trim level. Inside, both C4 Picasso siblings are equipped with USB-connected Mirror Screen technology, comprising of Apple CarPlay and MirrorLink for Android.

When it comes down to safety, to new driver assistance packages are available. Pack One contains active lane departure warning, active blind spot monitoring, speed limit recognition, driver attention alert, and intelligent beam headlights. As for Pack Two, this one has all of the above with the addition of active radar guided cruise control.

The available 3D Citroen Connect Nav system adopts capacitive technology and recognizes multiple contact points, thus allowing gestures such as pinch and zoom. The TomTom-based sat nav system also allows point-of-interest searches via the Internet. In terms of powertrains, the 2016 Citroen C4 Picasso is available with turbo gasoline and turbo diesels with up to 150 PS.

As for the much more spacious 2016 Citroen Grand C4 Picasso, your entry-level choice is the PureTech 130 S&S with a manual transmission. The pick of the bunch is the BlueHDI 150 with S&S and an EAT6 auto. In Feel trim, this powerplant and transmission combo will set you back £27,000 on-the-road.
