With an expected world reveal slated for this April at the New York International Auto Show, the all-new Chevrolet Camaro has recently been spotted roaming Ramona, California in production-ready guise. Before all else, here's a big thank you to Camaro6 forum member Grimelock2009 for the awesome spotting.
As you can see in the first two pictures of the photo gallery below, the front fascia of the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is more dramatic than a William Shakespeare tragedy, looking 90 percent as the Bumblebee Camaro from Transformers 4. The catfish mouth-like trapezoizdal lower radiator grille is flanked by what appears as vertical LED daytime running lights integrated at front bumper's extremities.

Though heavily masked, the headlights are certainly high-intensity discharge units with some LEDs for good measure. As for the upper intake grille, this component is demarcated in two right at the center by a golden bowtie badge if we're not mistaken. But that's not the best eye candy-grade detail on offer...

The most visually enticing aspect of the front fascia design comes in the form of how the vented hood's line is conjoined with the near-vertical angle of the front bumper. It's really aggressive and not at all the Matchbox-inspired, bad side of 1992 styling the fifth-gen 'Maro was criticized for when it debuted in 2009.

Looking at the production-ready pony car from its side profile view, it's easy to see that the roofline is lower and the doors swell/bulge a little down in the area where they meet with the side skirts. The side windows seem a little smaller than those of the 2015 model year, which is the result of that lowered roofline. As for the rear haunches, them pieces and the low-slung stance of the 2016 Camaro give the new generation a lot of presence anyway you look at the vehicle. These babies will fly off the dealerships' shelves, I tell you!

Moving on to the rear of the spotted car, we believe that this particular 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is propelled by either the enhanced 3.6-liter V6 motor or the Caddy ATS-derived 2-liter four-pot turbo due to those two exhaust pipes. Previous spy photos depicted test mules of the 'Maro with quad tips, a layout that's definitely reserved for an LT1 that replaces the LS3 V8 with more than 440 HP and 440 lb-ft (596 Nm) on the SS.

Even though the rear bumpers seem a bit too excessive for my liking and compared to the 2015 Ford Mustang and 2015 Dodge Challenger, the LED-accented taillights and the mid-mounted third brake light do combine nicely, visually speaking, with the hawkish boot lid spoiler that's fixed to the trunk door in three places. Overall, there's a lot to look forward to until the purported April reveal. 'til then, check out autoevolution's in-depth coverage of all things related to the sixth generation 2016 Chevrolet Camaro.
