Imagine you've just bought a 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS and are enjoying your Corvette-engined muscle car. Then, out of the blue, some douche t-bones you, totaling your pride and joy.
Sure, the insurance company covered everything but what car do you get after sucn an event? The answer obviously varies from one enthusiast to another, but Redditor Runewrath has an interesting cross-brand story for us.
It seems the man's 2016 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS was t-boned by another driver who was not only texting at the time, but had also skipped the part where one turns on his lights at night.
So, let's see what's next: "Absolutely loved the car [he's referring to the sixth-gen Camaro] but with the new ZL1 coming I decided I would get something different for the time being, and hopefully trade whatever I got in on the new ZL1. So after some crazy cross shopping which included the likes of C7 Corvette, GTR, M4, C63 AMG, GT350, and a Hellcat. I decided on a 2013 GT500."
The muscle aficionado explains his GT500 is a 2013 model year vehicle, with "every factory option." And since the snake only came with 2,300 miles on the odo, he's basically enjoying a fresh start.
As you can see in the images above, which show the blown pony in all its Black splendor, the guy also owns an S550 Ford Mustang GT.
The obvious question is whether he'll eventually trade in the GT500 once the 2017 ZL1 becomes available. Well, here's his answer: "I sadly don't know yet. Going to have to wait until I manage to drive the ZL1 I guess. I really have fallen in love."
While the man obviously hasn't had the smoothest ride, we're glad to see an enthusiast being able to work his way through the rich muscle car bouquet available nowadays.
