After some juicy renderings with the front and rear three quarters of the new-gen Camaro were released on the Internet earlier this month, we are now happy to show you how the Chevy-branded, Transformers-inspired pony car will look like from the side.
Forum member chazcron uploaded the pic above to Camaro6.com only recently. Before bashing the guy and his hours of labor with the pixels, you need to know that the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro was digitally imagined based on a spy photograph of a camo'd prototype. Compared to many other renderings, this one was carefully crafted, proportions, lines and all.

Viewing it from profile, the front end of the 2016 model year Chevrolet Camaro seems that little bit lower, more aggressively styled than the outgoing model's. But the main visual sauce up front comes in the form of a hood that integrates two vents for better cooling. Moving on to the side windows, it's as clear as day the C-pillar now depicts a proper C, differentiating itself greatly from the V-shaped C-pillar of the fifth-generation of the breed.

There's the impression the roofline is somewhat lower than what we were accustomed to with the current model. Speaking of it, the A-pillar is raked to a similar angle and shape as the outgoing Camaro.

As for the rear end, there are minimal differences between it and the Chevy pony we all know and love. If we're to be picky, a big visual discordance is represented by the taillight design. Yes, it's a given the sixth-gen Chevrolet Camaro will get very narrow taillights, but the surrounding black plastic makes it look rather cheap. Fingers crossed the production-ready 2016 Chevrolet Camaro won't adopt this design.
