If everything automakers tell us were true, we'd have the flying car that folds into a suitcase already. Of course, that hasn't happened because it's all smoke and mirrors, which is why we like to look at our favorite automobiles in the light of day, where our eyes can't play tricks on us.
Seeing as the new Mercedes S-Class Coupe is equipped with Swarovski headlights and only comes with big V8 engines, we'd be willing to bet it costs a whole lot more than a BMW 6 Series. But while it's probably more technologically advanced, it also lacks some of that "wow, look at that" appeal.
I mean it's not like Mercedes to make an understated car. Just take the new SL roadster as an example – big headlights, big grille and tiger claw grilles on the hood and sides. Compared to that, this S-Class Coupe spotted in Spain looks like a company car with two fewer doors.
