It’s been about two weeks since the latest and most accurate rendering of the 2015 Ford Mustang surfaced the Internet, and the actual car was caught in a couple of spyshots that reveal the next-generation musclecar’s front end.
The new photos come via Autoweek, who says they got them from a Ford insider, and both confirm that chazcron’s rendering was depicting the real deal. As we already knew, the 2015 Mustang sports the company’s signature front grille, first seen on the Evos concept and also fitted on models like the Fusion, the Focus and the Fiesta.
The new musclecar also feature redesigned, slender headlamps, a new apron and LED daytime running lights. Unfortunately, the insider wasn’t able to provide pictures of the vehicle’s rear end, so we have at least one big mystery on our hands.
We should, however, find out more details before the car’s grand unveiling at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show in January. The 2015 Mustang is rumored to go on sale in April, on the vehicle’s 50th anniversary.
