Despite it being quite successful in Europe and China, Audi hasn't yet brought the Q3 crossover Stateside.
This compact crossover is based on the PQ35 platform that also underpins the old A3, Golf, Caddy as well as the Tiguan and Yeti crossovers.
A report from Car & Driver magazine states the Q3 is going to be sold in the US just as soon as it gets its mid-life facelift. The delay is caused by the fact that it has to be adapted to meet certain regulations.
The RS Q3 will also be brought over to the states. This is Audi's first RS crossover and is powered by a detuned version of the 2.5-liter TFSI rated at 310 PS. 0 to 62 mph still goes by in a brisk 5.2 seconds. The model is has just entered production and is being tested in Austria where it's likely C&D got their insider info.
