As far as the Fiat Doblo goes, this lil' panel van is a favorite among European postal services and small businesses that need to make ends meets on a daily basis as cheap as possible. With us since 2009, the second-generation of the cheeky Fiat Doblo was in need of a facelift and this is how it looks like.
Whereas the outgoing model is unmistakably Fiat in design, the updated Doblo boasts with a new face that sort of reminds us of an Italian with a mustache smiling. Stereotypes aside, the visual improvement is tangible and the new look is more recognizable on the road than that of the pre-facelift Fiat Doblo.

Round the rear, the only notable aesthetic difference is represented by the tail lights. Although the shape has been retained, the cluster design is a tad more appealing than before. Sister model Ram ProMaster City is expected to get the same looks next year. As for the cabin, there's an all-new dashboard design and steering wheel and a neat infotainment system.

Now for the technical bit of the deal. Slated to go on sale early next year, the 2015 Fiat Doblo can be had with an array of turbocharged four-pot powerplants. The range starts with a 1.3-liter MultiJet turbo diesel with 75 / 90 PS and 200 Nm on tap, continuing with a 1.6L engine with 100 / 105 PS and 290 Nm.

A 1.6-liter MultiJet oil burner coupled to a robotized transmission is also offered, while the diesel range tops with a 2-liter MultiJet that churns out 135 PS and 350 Nm of torque. Fancy petrol power? It's got that as well, as follows: a 1.4-liter with 95 PS and 127 Nm, 1.4-liter TurboJet with 120 PS and 206 Nm and a 1.4-liter TurboJet that boasts with a dual fuel system and can run on either petrol or methane.

Early next year at launch, the facelifted Fiat Doblo will come in four body styles: Carbo, Combi, Truck or Flatbet. In addition to all of the aforementioned, Fiat announced that Traction+ is now available as an optional extra for those customers that need extra grip and traction from their mini workhorse.
