Earlier today, someone jumped the gun by leaking an image that revealed the starting price of the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat of “$59.9k,” but Dodge has now released pricing info for its entire 2015 Challenger lineup. The refreshed 2015 Challenger will go on sale in the third quarter, and it will be offered in a total of seven trim levels.
For clarification, the actual starting price of the 707-hp SRT Hellcat is officially set at $59,995. This price does not include the required $995 destination charge or the various gas-guzzler charges of $2,100 for models equipped with the six-speed manual gearbox and $1,700 for those with the new eight-speed automatic.

On the opposite side of the lineup, the entry-level 2015 Challenger SXT with its 305-hp 3.6-liter V-6 will have a starting price of $26,995, which represents a slight pricing increase of $500 compared to 2014. For that price, Dodge says that this base Challenger now includes more standard equipment that represents a $3,500 value. The Challenger SXT also upgrades to the eight-speed automatic transmission, which is expected to help improve fuel economy up to 30 mpg highway (the current V-6 Challenger gets 27 mpg highway). As a $3,000 option, the SXT Plus trim level brings more premium features like Nappa leather seats, 20-inch wheels and the Uconnect 8.4-inch infotainment system.

For those looking to step up from the base V-6, the Challenger R/T comes with the 375-hp and standard six-speed manual gearbox, and it has a starting price of $31,495. Although this is a price increase of $1,000 over 2014, Dodge says that this model actually represents a value of $3,550 with all the new standard equipment. Like the SXT Plus, the R/T Plus adds a more luxurious interior experience at a cost of $3,000.

Bridging the gap between R/T and SRT, the new 2015 Challenger R/T Scat Pack upgrades to the 485-hp 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 and effectively replaces the 2014 Challenger SRT Core model. Starting at $38,395 (including $1,000 gas-guzzler tax), the 2015 Challenger R/T Scat Pack is almost $2,000 cheaper than the SRT Core, and it promises more added features for a total value of more than $7,500. This model comes standard with the six-speed manual gearbox, but for just $400 more, it can be equipped with the eight-speed auto. In this configuration, the R/T Scat Pack delivers up to 25 mpg highway, which matches the rating for the 2014 Challenger R/T with the smaller 5.7-liter Hemi.

Finally, there’s the Challenger SRT 392, which was previously the range-topping model and now slots in just below the insanely powerful Hellcat. This model starts at $45,995, which is just $310 more than the 2014 model year. In base form (with the manual gearbox) requires a $1,000 gas-guzzler tax, but the optional $400 automatic transmission there is no gas-guzzler and fuel economy matches that of the R/T Scat Pack.
