The brand new 2015 Cadillac Escalade, which is expected to reach US dealerships this spring, will have a starting price set at $72,690, including the $995 destination and handling fee, making it $3,725 more expensive than the outgoing model.
For this amount, customers will be able to take home the Standard 2WD drive version, which can fetch at least $76,690 or $81,190 in the Luxury and Premium trims respectively. Those looking to buy the Escalade ESV 2WD will need to get an extra $3,000 out of their pockets.
Moving over to the four-wheel drive models, the Escalade will start from $75,290 (Standard), $79,290 (Luxury) and $83,790 (Premium), while the Escalade ESV will add $3,000 more to each of them.
Cadillac is also planning to roll out a range-topping Platinum trim level, but pricing is not available at the time of writing. For now, buyers can choose from seven exterior colors and three interior shades.
As a brief reminder, the large SUV can be had with a 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 engine under the hood, meaning output is rated at 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. Only one transmission is available - the six-speed automatic.
The vehicle will become available in Europe with the same specifications by the end of the year, but pricing has yet to be announced.
Among the numerous standard features, 2015 Escalade customers will also benefit from a Bose Centerpoint surround system that features 16 high-performance speakers and Advanced Staging technology.
