Akrapovic announces new silencers for the 2014 model year Yamaha YZ450F and YZ250F machinery.
Since we're talking racing-grade here, the new aftermarket exhausts sport top-of-the-range performance specs to suit the new machinery. The dimensions and engine performance of the new bikes have been carefully analyzed so the resulting exhausts, both slip-on and full systems are easy to install and work flawlessly.
The exhausts meet the FIM noise regulations and sport a welded mounting bracket and titanium end cap for more durability under racing conditions, a spark arrestor which does not impact performance and a clear-coated sleeve for improved scratch resistance.
Akrapovic's new exhausts are available as a slip-on can, full-system Racing Line with steel headers and Evolution Line, with full-titanium construction. They will soon become available through select distributors and Yamaha dealers.
