Harley-Davidson shows their latest addition to the accessory and custom part line-up for the 2014 Sportster. The Combination Digital Speedometer/Analog Tachometer is an aftermarket gauge which brings both functionality and a very high cool factor to the game, and which is most likely destined to become a best-seller among custom-look lovers.
A direct replacement unit, this new gauge does not require making any modifications to the bike and will effortlessly fit in place. Made from spun aluminium, the H-D Combination Digital Speedometer/Analog Tachometer come with a classic needle tacho, backed by a multi-function LCD to display odometer/tripmeter info, miles-to-empty, the segmented fuel display, a gear position indicator and of course, the time.
On the cool side, customers can easily chose from the wide palette of color combinations for the needle, LCD, backlight. More than 600 combinations are available, H-D reports. Bike's current mileage will be automatically displayed upon connection and start, as the unit draws info from the bike's computer.
This cool gauge will fit 2014 Harley-Davidson Sportster models, 2012-later Street Bob and Wide Glide models, and 2011-later Softail Rocker C, Blackline and Breakout models with a four-inch speedometer. Not exactly cheap, this combo instrument retails for $314.95 (€232).
