This story is going to seem as shrouded in the mists of rumors and speculation, but it started with a single photo which Detroit spy photographer Chris Doane opted on his Facebook profile a few hours ago.
With only the title "Sport button!" to give point us in the right direction, we easily came to the conclusion that tho is a Toyota stick from the colors used for 'R' and 'N'. A quick search of the internet revealed this i not a Toyota currently in production for the US, since most either have a very bigger leather sleeve or a plastic cover and a shorter stick.
Chris Doane has leaked such cool details in the past, and so there's a good chance we're looking at the 2014 Toyota Corolla's center console and a bit of the dash. Interestingly, the automatic transmission now has a manual mode, which should make the new sedan a little bit more sporty to drive. It also has a big Sport button right next to the traction control.
A Camry with a Sport button? What has this world come to!
The setup looks almost identical to that on a 2013 Auris with a stick (European market model), right down to the curvature of the plastic cover underneath the climate controls. (see photo below)
