Priced at an affordable $14,990 (€11,340), the 2014 Road Star Silverado S brings the best of two worlds in a nifty package. The classic, time-approved design with triple headlights and lush chrome accents, beefy front wheel for a massive look, the tall windshield and the comfy passenger backrest, complemented by the touring-worthy had side cases finished in matching color.
The 2014 Road Star Silverado S is ready to scorch the autumn countryside roads with the brawn of an EFI 102cui (1670cc) v-twin with hydraulic valve lifters, ending in a 2-into-2 chunky shotgun exhausts tuned to a deep rumble.
A 32-degree rake provides both classic chopper looks and maneuverability for those twisty mountain roads. And since touring is the name of the game, the 2014 Road Star Silverado S also comes with a n adjustable heel-toe shifter, full-size floating rider and passenger floorboards and sturdy, steel-braided throttle and clutch lines.
Dual front discs and a massive 320mm rear one ensure enough stopping power for the 773lbs (350 kg) beast, while countless accessories will be available in the dedicated Star catalog soon. Only available in Charcoal Silver, at least for now.
