We just had a quick chat with Nissan USA's management and found out the all-new Rogue will be shown in the US on September 10th. In our previous report, we speculated that the car would actually make its debut in Frankfurt, since the 10th is the day when the IAA kicks off.
Back in July, a press release from Nissan USA revealed that the redesigned Nissan Rogue is expected to be revealed in late 2013 before it is eventually sold in 2014. This would be the second generation of the Rogue Crossover Utility Vehicle, a successor to the model launched in 2007.
Both front and all-wheel drive models will still be available, powered by a new version of the QR25DE 2.5-liter engine, mated to a CVT transmission. It's believed to offer both 5- and 7-seater configurations in two trim levels.
Regarding the issue of the reveal's location, we know from Renault's press info that the X-Trail, Rogue and Quashqai will all be show in 2013. We could be looking at a simultaneous global unveiling event.
