Unfortunately for MINI, the spy photographers already caught their Cooper S model pretty much undisguised, causing them to publish an upset press release, accusing the entire automotive world of lack of sentiments.
The aftermath of that accidental unveiling seems to be still unsettling the British company that decided to postpone the unveiling of the new model until the LA Auto Show, in November instead of the Frankfurt Show, in September.
The official claim is that the BMW Group (owner of the MINI Brand) doesn't want the public to be distracted from the unveiling of the i3 that will be unveiled on-line on July 29th.
The new model is to adopt the 1.5-liter 3-cylinder turbocharged engine that has been making quite a fuss on the pages of major publications this year. It is also rumored that it will be producing anything between 120 and 200 HP with some serious torque to go with it too.
