With so many other compact luxury cars around, Lexus had to do something with its IS model to bring it up to date. Well, it did, and in my opinion, it even surpassed them when it comes to styling and interior quality.
Comparing it with the conservative BMW 3 Series, the 2014 Lexus IS looks like an alien, or should I say a Predator, due to that large spindle-shaped grille up front. Other cool design features are represented by the insect-eye headlamps and L-shaped taillamps flowing deep downwards on the rear quarters to meet the side skirts’ up going lines. Not too much, but it makes a huge difference from the last IS model.
Inside you get redesigned everything with quality materials and NuLuxe trimming for the F Sport version, which also adds a Mark Levinson audio system, LFA-inspired gauge cluster, heated front seats, perforated leather steering wheel and shift knob and more.
